Queenlessness

Humans are naturally hive animals.

Many, Many things affect personality, our genes of course, and countless environment factors.
Birth order has been shown to affect personality, First born children tend to be natural leaders, middle borns negotiate, and youngest children are entertainers.

In an insect hive, raising larva in different ways will yeild insects with essentially equivalent DNA taking on different physical attributes and behaviors, based on the needs of the hive.

A human hive is similar, children repond to events and conditions of their childhood by taking on different psychological traits, and perhaps even altering their metabolism and muscle tone.
A group of humans trying to survive will benefit from having a diverse set of particular kinds of people. We need risk takers and thoughtful strategists, packrats and clean freaks, peacemakers and agressive defenders. In a natural society, these roles would play off of each other to form a balanced, healthy hive.

It is possible that many traits our society considers maladaptive would serve important functions in a hive, or perhaps some people are insane because our society does not provide the proper simulus for their psychological development to complete their growth into an ancient role that they have been triggered to fill.

If your tribe lacks a muse, your prophet will start hearing voices.

Hi Indrax,

Actually I never heard any voices or saw any visions at all. The primary spiritual phenomenon that I experienced, other than the profound mystical experience of feeling God's presence in a kind of "born again" experience, was the extremely unusual "meaningful coincidences" of synchronicity that individually and collectively communicated the prophetic message that it is not a pure random chance "coincidence" that a total solar eclipse distinctly resembles an "Eye In The Sky". . .

Best Regards,

Robin Edgar

Well, that leaves three possibilities, at least one of which is true:
You have access to a muse.
You are not a prophet.
The theory needs refinement. (This one is almost certainly true)

: You have access to a muse.

Well I didn't have access to a "muse" in any traditional sense of the word.

: You are not a prophet.

I do in fact fit the Wikipedia definition of a prophet in more ways than one. I have very good reason to believe that God communicated with me via the initial mystical experience and by the highly "meaningful coincidences" of synchronicity. and, or with a deity. I do believe that I am delivering a divinely inspired message. I would be the "emissary type" of prophet who believes that s/he has received an important message that must be communicated to others.

: The theory needs refinement. (This one is almost certainly true)

By "the theory" do you mean the core revelation itself? i.e. that the total solar eclipse "Eye of God" is a "Sign in the Heavens" that symbolizes God's divine omniscience?

I am not sure how the core revelation itself can be subject to any refinement. It is remarkably simple and straightforward as a revelation of God although it clearly opens many theological questions. Some of which you have posed elsewhere yourself.

No, I meant my theory of humans being a hive animal.
